I’ve been daily driving the Mustang for a little over a week now and it hasn’t blown up nor has it killed anyone. Also, yesterday was a beautiful day to have the top down. I hope today is the same.

Every day is a beautiful day to have the top down!

I know it’s funny I’ve been driving Mustangs for about 7 years never had one break on me or did it tell me to kill anyone.

They never tell you they want to kill someone, that would be too obvious.

In Kansas, if you time it just right, you can be going 70mph with a 70mph tailwind and it’s totally silent in the car.

Open air cars are best cars.

The Gran Torino makes me want to kill people because I know there would be no evidence of it hitting someone because it’s metal and chrome and easy to wash

As a vert Mustang and NA Miata owner: Sometimes, yes.

The 2005 S197 had a bunch of unique (read: completely bullshit) design choices that no other year has. I was unlucky enough to unknowingly buy an ‘05

Yes, when they’re running and the roof isn’t leaking.

Ask my miata about roof leaks. And also ask the new top that I have had sitting in the dining room for the past five months.

Pay someone to install it. Best 300 bucks I ever spent. (and I LOVE DIY)

I’ve tried unsuccessfully to find someone.

Damn, that sucks. I lucked out. There is a guy in my area (The Bay Area) who does nothing but miata, S2000 and Z3 top installs. I’m assuming you’ve looked at forums, yelp, and such? Maybe time to take a short road trip!

There isn’t really anybody in the state that does this. There are upholsterers but they charge in the thousands for jobs like this and mostly deal with dealerships and insurance companies

Checked with the local SCCA region(s) and anyone from Miata.net who’s in your area?

That only happens when morons drive them.
